THE LA BAIE SPCA'S DUTIES ARE: Rescueing abandoned or distressed animals.

Care for sick or injured animals.

We investigate cases of cruelty or neglected house hold pets,under the direction of a Provincial Investigator.

We do not remove dead animals.

We do not take action in cases of annoyance by neighbours's animals except where there is cruelty or neglect involved such cases are a matter for legal action,and the society cannot intervene.

We do not supply animals nor scientific or medical research.
